October Update, The team got a chance to display the car at the Magnaflux headquarters in Glenview, IL. prior to the Ameriquest Nationals in Chicago. Magnaflux is an ITW company and is located in the same facility as the ITW headquarters. Magnaflux is the industry leading manufacturer of nondestructive crack inspection meathods for both ferrous and nonferrous metals. Product lines include Magnaflux, Magnaglo, Zyglo, Spotcheck, and Daraclean.
September Update, Prior to the Ameriquest Nationals the Bar's Leaks team displayed the car at an Advance Auto Parts store just outside Joliet, IL. It turned out to be one of the busier displays that the team participated in this season. All of the fans that stopped received autographed souvenirs and got a chance to talk with Jeff about what it’s like to 260 mph.
August Update, Jeff & Gary were honored with the “Dean Spitzer Special Recognition Award” at the 2005 Spitzer Race Cars open house during this-years U.S. Nationals. Mike Spitzer presented the award for their efforts in promoting Spitzer Race Cars & Spitzer Composites over the last few seasons. Additional award recipients included 2 long time Spitzer employees, along with Mark Williams Driveline Specialties creator Mark Williams.
July Update, On Wednesday prior to the Lucas Oil Nationals the Bar's Leaks Team is scheduled to host a live radio broadcast from the Race Team Appreciation picnic at the Goodson headquarters in Winona, MN. On Wednesday Augast 10th KG95.3 fm will be on hand to brodcast live from the Bar's Leaks teams display beginning at 11:00am and conculding at 1:00pm when we plan to DJ Aaron Taylor in the seat and start the car, Live. The promotional event will be kicked off by live call-in in which Jeff will invite Arron to "Come and check out his Hot-Rod" at the picnic. To make sure we capture as big of an audience as possable we are also running 30, 30 second radio spots that feature both Bar's Leaks & Goodson in the days preceding. The entire event should prove to be a lot of fun, while promoting our sponsors at the same time.
 June Update, On Wednesday prior to the Car Quest Auto Parts Nationals the Bar's Leaks Team was invited to set up a display at the regional Car Quest Headquarters in Illinois. The Car Quest employees enjoyed the first hand look at the Bar's Leaks Dragster and a good time was had by all.
May Update, While in Atlanta for the Summit Racing Equipment - Southern Nationals the Bar's Leaks team had time for a display at a local Advance Auto Parts store. Advance Auto Parts is a retalier for Bar's Leaks products and we were happy to help promote the brand while in town. The Store manager couldn't thank us enough for increasing his traffic flow.
April Update, Going into our first race of the season we had at least a half a dozen new components that were developed over the winter that we were eager to try. Our component manufacturers worked a lot of long hours over the last few months to develop some truly cutting edge parts. A few of these improvements are still in the completion stages and will be added to the car over the next few races. A couple of changes that we tested at the first race were a redesigned chassis and some new clutch components. Spitzer Race Cars went back to the drawing board and made a great car even better, and the engineers at Ace Racing Clutches have come up with some new ideas that are really promising.
March Update, With six weeks or so left before our first race in Indy, things are coming together really fast. Bar's Leaks, Magnaflux, and Goodson have all chipped in for the teams new Crew Shirts. Phoenix Custom Apparel from Denver CO. has designed a "Traffic Stopping" shirt that will attract attention and photograph well.
February Update, The 2005 season is coming faster than it may appear looking out the window here in Michigan. Spitzer Race Cars is hard at work on some "Never seen by human eyes" updates to our 04 car. Both the engine and clutch departments are working on some really exciting projects that we can't wait to try.
January 20, 2005 Valvoline Oil has agreed to continue their partnership for the 2005 season. Valvoline Oil has been a great backer of the NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster and Funny Car classes for many years. www.valvolineoil.com

December 12, 2004 With the kindness of Mike Spitzer at Sptizer Race Cars, we displayed the Bar's Leaks Dragster at the 2004 PRI show in Indianapolis. The Performance Racing Industry show is the largest performance parts show in the country with more than 100,000 attendies. Spitzer Race Cars also put on an open house at their shop that was greatefully sponsored by Bar's Leaks, Magnaflux, & Goodson. During the award presentation Mike Spitzer thanked each of our sponsors which was followed by a nice round of applause.
